FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What’s the culture like at Vineyard?

We are a community of regular people on a journey with Jesus. There is no pressure to dress up, or be formal. We want everyone to be able to come & go, converse, and worship freely. We encourage people to be open to the Holy Spirit moving. We try our best to have a culture of invitation, inviting you into the good things Jesus has for you while not forcing anything. We are not into hype.

What’s a typical gathering like?

When you come to church, you will be greeted by our volunteers. There will be free coffee, tea, & light snacks available. If you bring children, a volunteer can show you where the secure check-in station is located. Service starts at 10:00am on Sunday Mornings. Doors open at 9:30am so feel free to get there early, get a parking spot and hit up the cafe. Our service begins with a worship song, and is followed by announcements. The message comes next, and is followed by our full worship set. We end the service with ministry time, where there will be people available to talk and pray. Service officially ends around 11:30am, although prayer and ministry often flow past that time. If you need to leave feel free to do so whenever.

What’s there for my kids?

We have an awesome team of volunteers ready to give your kids a great experience in our kids ministry. Every volunteer has been vetted and background checked to ensure that we create a safe, secure, and fun environment. Vineyard Kids is for young kids and students up through 5th grade. Every week Vineyard kids learn from an interactive Bible lesson, do creative activities and practice praying for each other. We think Vineyard Kids is AWESOME, but of course if you’d prefer to attend the main service as a family, we’re totally cool with that too.

What about my teens?

The Vineyard's Youth Group is made up of 6th to 12th grade students. The Vineyard church values youth as an integral and valuable part of the church TODAY. You may see these students involved in a variety of aspects of church life and our gatherings. While these students are woven into the fabric of the broader church community Vineyard Youth also gathers twice each month to hang out, play games, explore faith and pray for each other.

*We are also launching a Young Adult Community this Summer for 20 something’s.*
